Comment activer ou désactiver des fonctions PHP avec le sélecteur PHP de CloudLinux ?

1 min lire

Disoh hosting uses CloudLinux with the convenient PHP Selector tool, which lets you enable PHP functions that are normally disabled by default or disable additional functions if needed. This can be done directly in cPanel ou DirectAdmin.

Step 1: Access the PHP Selector #

  1. Log in to your hosting account at my.disoh.com.
  2. Navigate to the Select PHP Version application:
    • cPanel: Found under SoftwareSelect PHP Version
    • DirectAdmin: Found under Extra FeaturesSelect PHP Version

Pro tip: Disoh also supports one-click login via your Client Area to access this tool faster.

Step 2: Enable or disable PHP functions #

  1. Open the Options tab in the PHP Selector.
  2. You will see a list of currently disabled PHP functions.
  3. Pour enable a function, simply remove it from the disabled list.
  4. Pour disable a function, add it to the list, separated by commas.

Changes take effect immediately, so there’s no need to restart anything.

Default disabled PHP functions #

By default, the following functions are disabled for security reasons:

curl_multi_exec, dl, exec, passthru, pcntl_exec, popen, posix_kill,
posix_mkfifo, posix_setuid, proc_close, proc_open, proc_terminate,
shell_exec, system, ftp_exec, leak, posix_setpgid, posix_setsid,
proc_get_status, proc_nice, show_source, escapeshellcmd,
showsource, symlink, escapeshellarg, escapeshellcmd

⚠️ Warning: These functions are disabled by default because they can pose security risks if misused. Only enable a function if your PHP application specifically requires it.
