Transferring your domain to Disoh keeps your domain and hosting in one place, which is simpler to manage. The process is standardised, and this guide explains the steps and what to prepare.
Antes de empezar #
- Make sure your domain is at least 60 days old and not recently transferred.
- Unlock the domain at your current registrar.
- Get the EPP (auth) code from your current registrar.
- Confirm your registrant email is current, as approval is sent there.
Step 1: Start the transfer at Disoh #
Begin the domain transfer in your Disoh account, entering the domain and the EPP code when prompted.
Step 2: Approve the transfer #
You will usually receive an approval email at the domain’s registrant address. Approve it to authorise the move. Transfers can take a few days to complete due to registry rules.
Step 3: Keep your website online #
A domain transfer does not have to affect your website if your DNS records are kept the same. Make sure your records point where they should before and after the transfer so nothing goes offline.
