¿Cómo puedo editar los registros DNS con el Editor de zonas de cPanel?

1 minuto de lectura

The Zone Editor in cPanel lets you add and edit DNS records such as A, CNAME, MX, and TXT. These control where your domain and email point. Here is how to use it safely.

Opening the Zone Editor #

  1. Inicia sesión en cPanel.
  2. En el Dominios sección, haz clic en Editor de zonas.
  3. Find your domain and click Gestionar (or use the quick “+ A Record” style buttons).

Common record types #

  • Un récord: points a name to an IPv4 address.
  • CNAME: points one name to another name.
  • MX: routes email to your mail server.
  • TXT: holds values like SPF and DKIM for email authentication.

Adding a record #

  1. Haga clic en Add Record and choose the type.
  2. Enter the name, TTL, and value.
  3. Haga clic en Add Record para guardar.

Editing or deleting #

  1. Find the record in the list.
  2. Haga clic en Edit to change the value, or Eliminar para eliminarlo.
  3. Guarda los cambios.

Important tips #

  • DNS changes can take a few hours to propagate.
  • Take note of the original value before editing.
  • Be careful with MX and TXT records, since errors can break email.

Solución de problemas #

  • Site not loading: confirm the A record IP is correct.
  • Email problems: re-check MX and SPF values.
  • Change not visible: allow time for propagation.
