An email forwarder sends a copy of every message from one address to another. It is ideal for routing an address like [email protected] to your personal inbox or sharing incoming mail with a colleague. This guide explains how in cPanel.
Creating a forwarder #
- Faça login no cPanel.
- No E-mail seção, abrir Encaminhadores.
- Clique em Add Forwarder.
- Enter the address to forward from and the destination address.
- Clique em Add Forwarder to save.
Forwarding to multiple people #
To send an address to several recipients, create a forwarder for each destination, or use a forwarder that points to a mailing list. Each recipient then receives a copy of incoming mail.
Keeping a copy too #
A pure forwarder does not store mail locally. If you want to both keep and forward messages, first create a normal mailbox for the address, then add a forwarder to the external destination as well.
Solução de problemas #
- Forwarded mail missing: check the destination address and its spam folder.
- Marked as spam: forwarding can affect scoring; consider adding the account to a mail app directly.
- Loop: never forward an address to itself.
