Once you have created a mailbox in cPanel, adding it to your phone takes just a few minutes. This guide covers the settings you need for iPhone and Android.
Find your settings #
In cPanel, open Contas de e-mail, click Conectar dispositivos next to your mailbox, and note the recommended settings:
- Entrantes (IMAP): seu servidor de e-mail, porta 993, SSL.
- Saída (SMTP): seu servidor de e-mail, porta 465, SSL.
- Nome de usuário: seu endereço de e-mail completo.
On iPhone #
- Abrir Settings > Mail > Accounts > Add Account > Other.
- Escolha Adicionar conta de e-mail and enter your details.
- Defina o tipo como IMAP and enter the servers above.
- Salvar.
On Android #
- Open your mail app and add an account.
- Escolha IMAP ou Outros.
- Enter your address, password, and the server details.
- Finish.
Solução de problemas #
- Não é possível conectar-se: confirm the hostname, ports, and SSL.
- Não é possível enviar: check the outgoing server and that authentication is on.
