Your site title, tagline, and logo are core parts of your brand and appear across your site and in search results. WordPress makes them easy to set. This guide covers all three.
Changing your site title and tagline #
- Ir para Configurações > Geral.
- Edit the Site Title (your site or business name).
- Edit the Tagline (a short description).
- Clique em Salvar alterações.
These appear in browser tabs, search results, and often in your header, so keep them clear and accurate.
Adding or changing your logo #
Logos are set in your theme, usually via the Customizer or Site Editor:
- Ir para Aparência > Personalizar (or the Site Editor for block themes).
- Procure por Site Identity.
- Upload your logo, and optionally show or hide the title and tagline.
- Publish your changes.
Setting a site icon (favicon) #
In the same Site Identity area you can set a Site Icon, the small favicon shown in browser tabs and bookmarks. Upload a square image, ideally at least 512 by 512 pixels.
Dicas #
- Use a transparent PNG or SVG logo where possible.
- Keep your tagline short and meaningful, or hide it if your theme looks better without.
- Test how the logo looks on mobile.
Solução de problemas #
- Logo not updating: limpe o cache.
- Logo too big or small: resize the image or check theme logo settings.
- No logo option: your theme may handle branding differently; check its documentation.
