Rather than leaving it showing an error, you can “park” it or put up a simple “coming soon” page. This keeps the domain looking intentional and professional while you prepare the real site. What “parking” a domain means #
Parking a domain simply means the domain is registered and pointed somewhere, but does not yet host a full website. A parked domain might show a blank placeholder, a basic holding page, or a “coming soon” message. The goal is to reserve the name and present something tidy to anyone who visits in the meantime.

- A simple placeholder page: a single page saying the site is on its way.
- A “coming soon” page with contact details: useful so visitors can still reach you.
- A redirect: send the domain to another site you already run, such as a social page.

How to set up a coming soon page #
- Point the domain to your Disoh hosting if it is not already.
- Abra o Gerenciador de arquivos and go to the domain’s public_html pasta.
- Upload a simple index.html file with your holding message.
- Alternatively, use the free site builder to publish a coming-soon template.
- Enable SSL so the page loads securely.
If you are building with WordPress, you can instead install it and activate a “coming soon” or “maintenance mode” plugin, which shows a friendly page to visitors while you work behind the scenes.
Redirecting instead of parking #
If you already have an active presence elsewhere, another option is to redirect the parked domain there. For example, a new brand domain could temporarily point to your existing site or a landing page until the new site is ready. Use a redirect for this, and switch it to the real site when you launch.
