# How do I create an email forwarder in cPanel?

An email forwarder sends a copy of every message from one address to another. It is ideal for routing an address like *info@yourdomain.com* to your personal inbox or sharing incoming mail with a colleague. This guide explains how in cPanel.

## Creating a forwarder

1. Log in to cPanel.
2. In the **Email** section, open **Forwarders**.
3. Click **Add Forwarder**.
4. Enter the address to forward from and the destination address.
5. Click **Add Forwarder** to save.

## Forwarding to multiple people

To send an address to several recipients, create a forwarder for each destination, or use a forwarder that points to a mailing list. Each recipient then receives a copy of incoming mail.

## Keeping a copy too

A pure forwarder does not store mail locally. If you want to both keep and forward messages, first create a normal mailbox for the address, then add a forwarder to the external destination as well.

## Troubleshooting

- **Forwarded mail missing:** check the destination address and its spam folder.
- **Marked as spam:** forwarding can affect scoring; consider adding the account to a mail app directly.
- **Loop:** never forward an address to itself.
