Como faço para criar um backup do meu site no cPanel?

Backups protect you from mistakes, failed updates, and lost files. cPanel includes built-in backup tools you can use yourself. Here is how to create and download a backup.

Creating a full backup #

  1. Faça login no cPanel.
  2. No Arquivos seção, clique em Backup.
  3. Under Full Backup, click Download a Full Account Backup.
  4. Choose the destination (usually Home Directory) and start the backup.
  5. You will be notified when it is ready, then you can download it.

Note: a full backup is mainly for migration and cannot always be restored from the cPanel interface directly.

Creating a partial backup (recommended for restores) #

Partial backups are easier to restore yourself:

  • Home Directory: downloads your website files.
  • MySQL Databases: downloads a database.
  • Email Forwarders/Filters: downloads email settings.

Click the item you want under “Download a Partial Backup”.

Restoring a partial backup #

  1. Return to the Backup page.
  2. Under Restore, choose the type (files, database, or email).
  3. Upload the backup file and start the restore.

Melhores práticas #

  • Back up before any major change.
  • Keep a recent copy on your own computer.
  • Restore a test copy occasionally to confirm your backups work.

Solução de problemas #

  • Backup takes a long time: large sites need more time; wait for the notification.
  • Restore fails: make sure you are restoring the matching type.
  • Not enough space: remove old backups before creating new ones.
