Why schedule posts #

How to schedule a post #
- Write your post as normal.
- In der Publish panel, find Publish: Immediately and click it.
- Choose the future date and time you want.
- Klicken Sie auf Schedule.
The post now shows as “Scheduled” and will go live automatically at the chosen time.
Managing scheduled posts #
- Find them under Posts > All Posts, marked “Scheduled”.
- Edit the date to reschedule, or publish immediately if you change your mind.
- You can schedule pages too, using the same steps.
A note on time zones #
Scheduling uses the time zone set under Einstellungen > Allgemein. If posts publish at the wrong time, check that your site’s time zone is correct.
If a scheduled post fails #
Occasionally a post can show “Missed schedule”. This is usually because WordPress’s internal scheduler (wp-cron) did not run, often on very low-traffic sites. A “missed schedule” plugin or a real server cron job for wp-cron resolves it reliably.
