- Log in to your Disoh account.
- Open the Domäner section and find the domain in question.
- Choose the Förnya option and select how many years to extend.
- Complete the payment.
- Confirm the new expiry date is updated.
Once payment is processed, your domain is secured for the new period and your website and email continue without interruption.
Turn on auto-renew for peace of mind #
The most reliable way to avoid losing a domain is to enable auto-renew, which charges your payment method automatically before the expiry date. This removes the risk of forgetting. If you use auto-renew, keep your billing details current, since an expired card can cause the renewal to fail even when auto-renew is on.
Keep your contact details up to date #
Renewal reminders are sent to the email address on your account and, for some extensions, the domain’s registrant contact. If that address is out of date, you may miss the warnings. Make a point of keeping your account email current and monitored.
What happens if you miss the date #
If a domain expires, most extensions offer a grace period during which you can still renew normally. After that comes a redemption period, where recovery is possible but usually with an extra fee. Beyond that, the domain is released and anyone can register it. Acting quickly is always cheaper and safer than waiting.
