How to Manage Your Domains in the Client Area

2 min read

Your client area is the control centre for every domain you have registered with Disoh. From there you can renew domains, adjust their settings, and keep them secure, all in one place. This guide explains what you can manage and where to find it, so your domains stay active and correctly configured.

Finding your domains #

  • Log in to your client area.
  • Open the Domäner menu and choose My Domains.
  • You will see each domain with its registration and expiry dates and status.

What you can manage #

Selecting a domain opens its management page, where the available tools typically include:

  • Renewals: extend the domain before it expires.
  • Auto-renew: switch automatic renewal on or off.
  • Nameservers: point the domain to your hosting or elsewhere.
  • Registrar lock: lock the domain to prevent unauthorised transfers.
  • EPP/auth code: obtain the code needed to transfer the domain away.
  • Contact details: update the domain’s registrant information.

Keeping domains from expiring #

The most important domain task is simply not letting it lapse. In the client area you can see each domain’s expiry date at a glance, enable auto-renew so renewal happens automatically, and keep a valid payment method on file so that renewal succeeds. These three habits protect you from accidentally losing a domain.

Pointing a domain to your hosting #

If you want a domain to show your website, set its nameservers to your Disoh nameservers, or edit its DNS records. Both are reached from the domain’s management page. After changing them, allow some time for the change to propagate across the internet.

Security settings worth using #

  • Registrar lock: keep this on unless you are actively transferring the domain.
  • Accurate contact details: so you receive important domain notices.
  • Privacy protection: where supported, to keep your details out of public WHOIS.

Troubleshooting #

  • Domain expiring soon: renew it from the domain page and enable auto-renew.
  • Website not showing: check the domain’s nameservers or DNS point to your hosting.
  • Transfer blocked: unlock the domain and get the EPP code first.
