The process involves exporting your website’s content and databases from Bluehost and importing them into WordPress on your Disoh hosting account.
Steps to migrate your site from Bluehost
Backup your website on Bluehost #
- Log in to your Bluehost control panel.
- If you’re using WordPress, go to your dashboard → Tools → Export and download your content.
- For a full backup, including themes, plugins, and databases, use Bluehost’s Backup tool or download your files via FTP.
WordPress instellen op Disoh #
- Log in to your Disoh hosting control panel (mijn.disoh.nl).
- Install WordPress using our one-click installer.
- Log na de installatie in op je nieuwe WordPress site (meestal op
uwdomein.nl/wp-admin).
Uw inhoud importeren #
- In your new WordPress dashboard, go to Tools → Import.
- Select WordPress Importer (install it if needed).
- Upload the exported .xml file from Bluehost.
- Wijs berichten toe aan je gebruiker en importeer bijlagen als je wilt dat je mediabestanden worden gekopieerd.
Controleer je ontwerp en plugins #
- Themes and plugins from Bluehost do not automatically transfer.
- Install your preferred theme and plugins directly from the WordPress repository or upload custom ones.
Uw domein bijwerken #
- If your domain is registered through Bluehost, you can transfer it to Disoh or update its DNS to point to our servers.
