Zodra je een SSL-certificaat hebt, wil je dat elke bezoeker de beveiligde https-versie van je site gebruikt, en niet de onbeveiligde http-versie. Door HTTPS af te dwingen blijven verbindingen versleuteld, wordt het hangslotje weergegeven en wordt je SEO verbeterd. In deze handleiding wordt uitgelegd hoe je dit in DirectAdmin kunt instellen.<\/p>\n

Controleer eerst of SSL is ingeschakeld<\/h2>\n

Zorg ervoor dat er een geldig SSL-certificaat voor je domein is ge\u00efnstalleerd voordat je HTTPS afdwingt (Disoh biedt gratis Let\u2019s Encrypt-certificaten aan). Als je HTTPS afdwingt zonder certificaat, krijgen bezoekers beveiligingswaarschuwingen te zien.<\/p>\n

Optie 1: SSL-instellingen in DirectAdmin<\/h2>\n

  1. Log in bij DirectAdmin.<\/li>\n
  2. Open het configuratiebestand van je domein SSL Certificaten<\/strong> of het instellen van een domein.<\/li>\n
  3. Schakel de optie in om HTTPS te forceren of ernaar door te verwijzen, indien beschikbaar.<\/li>\n
  4. Opslaan.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Optie 2: WordPress<\/h2>\n

    Als je website op WordPress draait, stel dan zowel het WordPress-adres als het siteadres in op de https-versie onder Instellingen > Algemeen<\/strong>, en gebruik een plug-in of instelling om HTTPS voor de hele website af te dwingen.<\/p>\n

    Optie 3: omleiding via .htaccess<\/h2>\n

    Voor andere websites voeg je een omleidingsregel toe aan je .htaccess-bestand in de map public_html, zodat alle http-verzoeken naar https worden doorgestuurd. Als je twijfelt, kan de helpdesk je de exacte regel voor jouw configuratie geven.<\/p>\n
