In deze handleiding wordt stap voor stap uitgelegd hoe je je DirectAdmin-e-mailaccount aan Outlook toevoegt.<\/p>\n<h2>De instellingen die je nodig hebt<\/h2>\n<p>Je vindt deze in DirectAdmin onder \u2018E-mailaccounts\u2019, via de link voor het instellen van de e-mailclient:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Inkomend (IMAP):<\/strong> uw mailserver, poort 993, SSL\/TLS.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Uitgaand (SMTP):<\/strong> uw mailserver, poort 465, SSL\/TLS.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Gebruikersnaam:<\/strong> uw volledige e-mailadres.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>De account toevoegen in Outlook<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Open Outlook en ga naar <strong>Bestand &gt; Account toevoegen<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Voer je e-mailadres in en kies <strong>Geavanceerde opties &gt; Ik wil mijn account handmatig instellen<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Selecteer <strong>IMAP<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Voer hierboven de inkomende en uitgaande servers en poorten in.<\/li>\n<li>Gebruik je volledige e-mailadres als gebruikersnaam, voer je wachtwoord in en rond het proces af.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Waarom IMAP in plaats van POP?<\/h2>\n<p>Bij IMAP blijven e-mails op de server staan en worden ze op alle apparaten gesynchroniseerd, zodat een bericht dat je op je telefoon hebt gelezen, ook in Outlook als gelezen wordt weergegeven. Bij POP worden e-mails meestal gedownload en vervolgens verwijderd, waardoor ze op andere apparaten kunnen verdwijnen.
