# How do I set up my email on an iPhone or Android device (cPanel)?

Once you have created a mailbox in cPanel, adding it to your phone takes just a few minutes. This guide covers the settings you need for iPhone and Android.

## Find your settings

In cPanel, open **Email Accounts**, click **Connect Devices** next to your mailbox, and note the recommended settings:

- **Incoming (IMAP):** your mail server, port 993, SSL.
- **Outgoing (SMTP):** your mail server, port 465, SSL.
- **Username:** your full email address.

## On iPhone

1. Open **Settings > Mail > Accounts > Add Account > Other**.
2. Choose **Add Mail Account** and enter your details.
3. Set the type to **IMAP** and enter the servers above.
4. Save.

## On Android

1. Open your mail app and add an account.
2. Choose **IMAP** or **Other**.
3. Enter your address, password, and the server details.
4. Finish.

## Troubleshooting

- **Cannot connect:** confirm the hostname, ports, and SSL.
- **Cannot send:** check the outgoing server and that authentication is on.
