¿Cómo puedo cargar los archivos de mi sitio web?

Once your hosting package is active, you can upload your website files using either the built-in file manager or an FTP client like FileZilla.

Option 1: Upload via File Manager

1. Log in to your hosting control panel (DirectAdmin or cPanel).
2. Navigate to Gestor de archivos.
3. Open the folder named public_html (this is your website’s root folder).
4. Use the Upload button to select and upload your files.

Option 2: Upload via FTP (recommended for larger sites)

1. Download and install an FTP client (e.g. FileZilla).
2. Connect with the following details:
   • Anfitrión: yourdomain.com (or server IP)
   • Nombre de usuario: your FTP/hosting username
   • Contraseña: your hosting password
   • Port: 21
3. After connecting, navigate to the public_html folder.
4. Drag and drop your website files from your computer into this folder.

Notas importantes

• The main page of your site should be named index.html o index.php.
• Make sure to upload your files to public_html, otherwise your site will remain blank.
• If you overwrite existing files, your website will change immediately.
