With DirectAdmin, you can easily create personalized email accounts (e.g. [email protected]) for your domain.
Steps to create a new email account:
- Log in to DirectAdmin.
- Under the E-Mail Manager section, click on E-Mail Accounts.
- Click the Create Account button.
- Fill in the details:
- Username: Choose the part before
@yourdomain.com(e.g.info). - Password: Create a strong password, or use the “Random” generator.
- Email Quota (MB): Set a limit or choose unlimited.
- Username: Choose the part before
- Click Create to finish.
Accessing your email:
- Webmail: Log in via
https://yourdomain.com/webmailusing your full email address and password. - Email client (Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail, etc.):
- Incoming server (IMAP): mail.yourdomain.com, port 993, SSL enabled
- Outgoing server (SMTP): mail.yourdomain.com, port 465, SSL enabled
- Username: full email address (e.g. [email protected])
- Password: the password you created
Tips:
- IMAP is recommended so emails stay synced across all devices.
- If you have trouble sending mail, ensure SMTP authentication is enabled in your mail client.
